I've ignored Ryze for quite some time, so it's refreshing to come back and find these groups still going strong! :)
We're just finishing up (finally! I thought it would never end) our beta release of CSS osCommerce, which is a tableless rewrite of the popular osCommerce application. I thought it might be of interest to a lot of the people on this board because I've tried to answer to a lot of the very SEO needs that are talked about.
What I'd be interested in is knowing what features you people would like to see in such an application to make the job of Marketing and Promotion easier. We've focussed on the SEO side by making the site produce valid XHTML / CSS in a tableless format, adding SEO URL's, Header Tag Controller and then going a step further by making the META Description for categories and products actually show up in the short descriptions on product listing pages.
What next?
We're still putting together a generic demo store at our site and you can get a sneak peek (if you don't mind seeing how sausages are made) of our Tableless CSS osCommerce rewrite and tell me what you think needs to be fixed, changed or included to make this a tool that you'd want to use.
