Tableless XHTML / CSS osCommerce: Moving on to building the update. Feedback needed. |

We successfully created a rewrite of the popular eCommerce application, osCommerce, to produce a flexible, tableless xhtml structure for styling with CSS. We also added some critical SEO features, some of them contributions from the classic osCommerce site and some of them custom (e.g. Rasa Infusion takes the dynamic TITLE, Meta keyword and meta description and moves it into the body so that Google will see it. Your choice of having the description in the short product descriptions or not. Otherwise, it's 'display:none' H1, H2 and p text above the background image of the logo banner).
Now, we're moving into Version 2 of the application (in between designing for our new clients for this osCommerce fork) and we're wondering what the SEO wish list would be for an eCommerce store.
For example, by popular demand, we're integrating a new A / B Split Testing manager, an ability to dynamically create Landing Pages, and tighter integration with HitsLink.com to display visitor and conversion information in the admin.
If people on this forum have any suggestions on what they'd like to see, you may find it in the next build that gets launched.
Thanks
