Hello everyone, I recently participated in a teleclass with regard to marketing and the 90 day challenge. It was very informative and basically stated that one must spend at least 80% of their time marketing.

If you are a coach, or in any other field one would think that you are quite personable as well as intuituve, perhaps is just communication etc., get them involved. I spoke to a fella just the other day who asked me to send him a package what did I do? Talk to him. I paid attention to what his needs were, he began saying he knew people who could use that ... 3,000 of them to be exact.

I'm on the fast track myself, I want 10 new clients with in the next month. Think I can do it? :) I have to trust that the seeds I plant and the contacts that I make are working. Then I follow up, not to sell anything but to thank them for something, and then get them talking. I make appearances at networking events and get to know people that way, f/u with an immediate e-mail... I show interest in the "people" not getting a client. Opportunity will present itself .. you just have to be open to it.

Perhaps I may have missed some of the postings but the idea I got was about marketing from the few that I have read.

I hope I've been of some assistance. For me? "I have to trust that it's working" ... when/if I do bring something up? it's casual and when the opening presents itself.

Lets face it "cold calls?" blegh... who likes those? Certainly not me BUT it doesn't have to be that way either. So far, I've gotten to know a great number of people and I'm being exposed to alot of different things which I can incorporate my coaching into ... s'fine with me. My objectives are to be a good coach and to be financially stable doing it. Everything else that comes along? Is a bonus... :)
