I just love all these idea's and banter :) I had suggested when it comes to tasks, such as filing that a person put on their favorite CD and listen to music to make it more enjoyable and to also keep a pen and paper handy so they could think about idea's and write them down while doing this mindless task. The idea is to link some pleasure to it some how so that it's more fun instead of tedious. It's just something that works for me. :) Need for speed. That would deff be me. I have some time constraints with regard to getting my coaching practice moving faster as in if it isn't sooner than later, for a while I must go back to being a legal assistant, which quite frankly I don't want to do. I keep saying that I have to trust that it's working and that is a "HUGE" part of it for me. Putting together groups for women or men in various area's for teleclasses, gaining interest and making it all complimentary initially. Follow up is "very" important, people forget or put it on back burners, call say hello this brings you up to the front a little more in their mind ... be a part of their life on a comfortable level. People remember how you make them feel. One way or the other. The idea for me is to become involved in more things where my services will be "needed" or "practiced" The other thing I am doing is swapping ideas with other coaches. Lets be honest for a moment here ok? I don't think "everyone" has a full practice, I do not but it's not for lack of trying and having the support of others who are seeking the same things/goals/number of clients etc., is incredibally supportive and personally makes me feel better to ask for help and exchange idea's ... as opposed to doing that "blank look at wall stare" like what do I do now? So I talk to everyone. I find there are going to be some people I can not coach :) No offense to them but I won't be able to work with them, personality differences etc., and this is great when I have a group of coaches to say hmmm ... this persons more business oriented who do I know? And I can send them the other way. I just keep asking for support and watch the doors open. Then sift through and keep trying. I'm open to more suggestions! You all know where to find me! Great Ques Eric! :) > Eric Sohn wrote: >

Hi, faithful BBFFU'ers -

Does the need for "fixing" things now impact the quality of your business results? Does it change how you feel about working in your business? Please give examples.

And, most importantly, how might you change the way you work to better balance the need for speed with the need to produce the best result for you, your business, your customers and other stakeholders?
