Hi Eric:
Thanks for your wise questions. I've been agonizing over this exact thing for over a year. People have told me why would you want to cut out 50% of the market? On the other hand my "Testosterone-Free Marketing" message really is unique and I've never seen the answers to the question my book discusses even brought up in any other format.
Did you know there isn't a single book out there on marketing for women? Marketing TO women - there's tons of them. But I really have an original here and I'll never know the answers to the questions you pose until I run with it.
I can have a ton of marketing savvy and expertise - but it's not DIFFERENT or UNIQUE when I'm talking with both genders.
And focusing in more tightly? Yes, I've thought of that. My market is not experienced, seasoned women entrepreneurs who've been out in the trenches for years. This is for the newbies and the wannabes who are just starting to stretch their wings and suddenly they've encountered a challenge. This thing called marketing. Denise Michaels The Marketing Maven to the rescue!
There are lots of of very specific tightly-honed characteristics and personality traits of my perfect customer as well.
All the best,
Denise M. Michaels
