Wow Matt,

while I was reading your post sounded like myself till about 4 months back. A very positive, self made person kept on going down in desending spiral for almost two years. Harder I tried, faster I went down. I know exactly what you are talking about, it shakes everything of your personality. Loosing most everything that you have. But tell you what I once again was able to bounce back up after hitting the hard surface and that is how I can say it with FULL confidence that good things are right their hiding behind a curtain of your mental room ready to come out with the pulling the right string to open the curtain.

Let me explain: when things are not in the right order, it is hard to imagin that how can it ever be. And we keep going down and down in the visious circle of negativity, attracting the wrong, people and wrong situations. It is hard for me to point out one thing that helped me. But I will try to do justice by explaining. First, I found an outlet in a friend that I knew would not judge me for the situations around. Tried changing the inside and outside surroundings by working out in the Gym, regular 4-5 times a week swimming (all this I did to get out of my stuck up mental setup), joined many networking groups, tried out some suggestions, signed up for recommended free new letters. Eric has good free bies too. Other people to check out in the Ryze that were a great part of my success (they do not know about it though) are Scott Straten, Scott Allen, Irene Brooks and many more. One of the best reccomendations that I got was hooking up with "Brian Tracy's Newsletters. Since then I read Brian Tracy's, The Psychology of Achievements, and Eating your frog (Must read).

As a matter of fact now I have more things that I have to do than time and they are all falling in the right stream line. It is just the matter of breaking the current stream or may I put it in other words to agitating the physical and mental energy and relax to let it come to normal positive place. JUST BELIEVE IT THAT YOU ARE OVERCOMMING ANYTHING ON THE ROAD OF YOUR SUCCESS.
Good Luck.

Burnout - happens to us all. I've enjoyed the discussion so far. But, it's one thing to "reignite" - it's another to see it coming.

A wonderful question (in my humble opinion) to ask when you're in a bad situation is - What has changed? After all, you didn't start out burned out, did you?

>>

So, Matt (since it was your thread) - what changed? How do you find or recreate what was lost/changed?
