I have to tell you I have great ideas all the time. I always say I'll remember that later. Make a list etc., course if I'm in the car or shopping and my mind is wandering how can I do that? I've considered investing in a mini recorder so that when these idea's hit me I have access to it, as I would keep it on me at all times. Then I could simply say them, and then write them down in a list when I get home and use them as I see fit.

I have the best ideas at times, very insightfull etc., but I forget them during the rush of the day. The good news is that there are always more where they came from :)

We all have them...we totally forget something we wanted to remember...

Time for an idea exchange: How do you capture information effectively, so you can remember what you meant to remember? When an idea comes to you, how do you ensure it gets captured?

As a corollary, can you remember a time where you had what seemed like a great idea, but you forgot it before you could capture it? What were the consequences of forgetting?
