Most important investment besides time spent learning? Definitely my computer equipment and software. I wouldn't be in business without it.
Every investment can have a different kind of return. It can be the mental confidence it gives you, it can be the time saved or it could be the amount of money made or saved.
I try not to bring this one up but everyone says "you should track your miles and take a tax deduction." Well I tried that once but although it's a simple task I began to dread going out. So I consider NOT worrying about tracking my miles an investment (because I'm more productive when I don't.)
