|| Greetings to the group,
If you are in the market for a new home, congratulations!
However, you shouldn't ever sign a contract of any kind without having your lawyer review it first. A written contract is legally binding, and if you don't know your rights and responsibilities, you could end up very unhappy.
Even if you take a homeowner's class (and you should), you should still get your lawyer to review it first. Lawyers draw up contracts; that's why lawyers should review them before you sign them.
Don't have a lawyer? Why, becuase you can't afford $175 to $300 an hour? Neither can 80% of Americans.
If you have 5 minutes, go to http://www.prepaidlegal.com/info/jacksonlv
to watch a short movie about how you can protect your legal rights - for good.
Stay up and stay active,
