We currently have a requirement for the position of Sr.Software Engg. / Software Specialist - wireless domain for one of our client
Our client is one of the globally known Business Group Companies, global leader in Industrial Design Engineering and System Integration Services.
Job Description:
Skill Sets: Candidate must have hands on in FPGA design / implementation experience in at least two to three complete cycles.
MUST HAVE:
Technical Skills:
„X Knowledge of system design with pipelining mechanisms.
„X Good understanding and working knowledge of Xilinx/Altera FPGAs (Spartan/Virtex, Cyclone/Stratix families).
„X Timing Analysis
„X Should have knowledge on Verilog / VHDL (verilog preferred)
„X Should have used at least one of the below
o Xilinx ISE 7.0 or above OR Quartus II 5.0 and above FPGA tools
o ModelSim / Leonardo spectrum / NC-Sim
Domain: Wireless (Wimax/WLAN knowledge)
Soft Skills:
Good written and oral communication skills required.
DESIRABLE:
„X WiMAX Architecture, Physical Layer, MAC, Lower MAC in FPGA, Algorithm implementation, Traffic Engineering
„X Board level design with FPGAs, Processor logic design and development
„X Working knowledge of tools like Synplify Pro, ChipScope
Qualification: BE / B.Tech
Experience:- 3 - 6 Yrs.
