Hi Madhavi
thank you. I did read most of Salman Rushdie's creations.
The book that remained close to my heart is, the Booker Prize winner , Midnight's Children.
It's a Reader's delight. The bliss of one's childhood, a child's introspection was woven into an extraordinary and kaleidoscopic tale...
the true spell of Mumbai came alive through the eyes of Saleem, born at the stroke of midnight August 13, 1947, the moment of Indian Independence from Britain. No other book came closer to this in delineating Mumbai in its purest magical form. I find self being intrigued by the city, the merriment, the struggle, the pathos, the verve the city embodies
The book was a magical trip for me....
Rohinton Mistry : I read 'Family Matters'...
