Talking about eateries, had been to this Chinese restaurant (authentic looking) in Besant Nagar, Chennai - i forget its name. Found a little roach creeping up the folds of the menu, called the waiter and told him "I didnt know you had cockraoch on your menu!" Poor fellow, innocently replied, "neither did i sir!" :)
anyways, for real good localised food,
Mumbai: Khau galli (for chats, pau bhaji, etc.) - churchgate
Chennai: Dhabba Express (one inside IIT and not the cenotaph one) - punjabi stuff are real good prices. Murugan idli - GN Chetty rd.Private Reply to The Code of The Woosters (new win) |
