Hello.
While I was in massage therapy school, we learned that carpal tunnel, while it does affect the wrist and hands, actually stems from the cervicals (neck). One of my instructors had a seminar in which we followed the story of a pregnant woman who suffered from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Surgery was an option for her, but she decided against it. Anyhow, with frequent massaging of her neck, back and arms (right down to the fingertips), she noticed her symptoms were less aggravating to her and eventually her pain seemed to have gone away. Massage may be the answer to those who practice alternative medicine.
Thank you for your time, Cherilyn
