Hello Everyone,
I recently joined your group here and this is my first post.
I am massage therapist student and have studied many modalities including acupressure, myofascial release, and polarity.
The one thing that we see most of is people with Carpal Tunnel and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, there's more, but those two top the list.
While we are not doctors and can't diagnose, a massage therapist may help you with some of your conditions. I don't live near any of you and am not soliciting your business, but just wondered if anyone here has explored different types of treatment as opposed to surgery? If you have, how was your outcome?
The class I have now, Orthopedic Massage, is basically trigger point work and PIR, RI, Pnf, and Pr techniques, These are all mostly stretch and release excercises, but have greatly reduced pain in folks with RSI's.
Take care,
Kristen
