For the past 20 years, I've been doing the type of work that gives me limited exposure and I have made few friends during this time. At 48 years old, I'm interested in seriously changing my life, I'm realizing that this job (actually I'm still presently employed there) is really stifling me in too many ways to mention. Bottom line is I'm willing to start from scratch with a new enterprise. Although I haven't risked everything on wine-tasting parties, I think the direct sales/business has opened a whole new world to me and anything is possible for my future. I enjoy learning about how other women managed to start businesses, some of them even stay home and raise their families while they run their businesses. Young women of today are creative and very intelligent and I believe I can learn a lot from them. Maybe they can help me get an idea of what I'd like to do next. I would hope to able to contribute something to other women too. Today's woman has learned to manage family and work in a way that their great Grandmothers would be proud of. I hope to get a network started of just such women in the Chicago area. I prefer to limit the membership to women only because women need support from other women in particular when it comes to business. Please consider joining.
