Hi,

Panvel (Palaspe) - Shri Datta - tea + batata vada (1 hr from Mumbai).

vadkhal naka - Milind Vihar (Lavate) - Snacks + Tea - (2 hrs from Mumbai)

Mahad - Visava - Snack / lunch (veg-nonveg) - (4-4½ hrs from Mumbai)

Chiplun - (ACtually Lote - 16 km b4 Chiplun) - Bhargavram - Medu vada ( This is very unsual and very unkown joint - known in locals only, but you will like if you have that liking).

OR If you reach early in Chiplun, you may have xcllent non-veg delcacies at Abhishek.

Then to ratnagiri. 1½ hrs from Chiplun (90 kms).

If you want to take minimum breaks - depends on your desire & driving - you may avoid shri dutt and/or vadkhal and take tea + snacks at Mahad, lunch at Chiplun or Ratnagiri. It really shortens time if you are used to long drives.
