Computer Freeze? Please Help. |

I thought I would ask the computer experts here at the Entrepreneurs Network for advice. Please help. My computer is a Window XP only 3 years old. When I turn my computer on the cursor is frozen and nothing moves. I proceed to turn the computer off, then back on and hit the f8 key many times, it will then open. I thought the problem might be my start-up in msconfig. I clicked off the majority of the start-up and after the reboot it would work as long I leave the computer on. As soon as I turn it off, the next morning I am stuck again.
What I have tried as a solution:
1. Clicked off the majority of the start-ups so they won't load. 2. Restored to a different date. 3. Ran a full scan with MacAfee, nothing found. 4. Ran a spybot to check for virus, nothing found.
I don't know what else I can do. Any suggestions would be more than appreciated.
PS The system also doesn't read certain commands on a social networking site (Ryze), not sure if that makes a difference?
Thank you, Carole
