There seems to be a temporary lull in activity here.
May be because of the general holiday mood or deadlines breathing down your neck.
Do let us all know what's new and happening in your respective practices and professions?

Well, its been more than 3 months since my last post seeking suggestions on my case. Since then a lot has happened and we have managed to get some relief, and consequently forward movement, from the High Court.

Based on my experience with the earlier hearings when our petition got dismissed as we had not hired a senior lawyer to represent us, this time we hired a Senior when we decided to file a LPA before the Division Bench and consequently we did get an Order referring the case back to the Single Judge who had passed the earlier order to reconsider the order based on the reply we had got to our RTI application to the postal deptt.

Thereafter, the matter was again taken up by the Single Bench and now a Notice has been issued to the company and SEBI.

The RTI application that I made, and religiously followed, seems to have got me the result!! My first brush with the power of RTI has been a resounding success. I guess everyone should try and make effective use of it.

And, DLF also seems to have settled with the minority shareholders and its issue is now on track.

In the end I would also like to acknowledge the usefulness of this community, in as much as, even though I did not get a response to my last post, just the act of writing to the community, did help me get a lot off my chest. Thanks.

Wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Cheers,

Vinay
