Just wanted to check in and get a discussion going.
This may seem like it's OT, but a great movie to see is "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
You may be asking what does the movie have to do with business?
Without giving the story away, the movie as to do with passion, and without passion you can have no business.
Beyond that, bringing to film a rather obscure short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald is something that that producer had been nursing for years. He could have given up, but he kept at it until he got the film produced.
The movie is in the old Hollywood tradition. Great cinematography, score, costumes and acting by Brad Pitt, Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett. Techno fans will love it since computerized enhancements and graphics pervase the movie.
The movie is long but if you keep your mind open, you will leave with a greater passion for your life and for your business.
This movie has Oscar written all over it. A must-see movie as we approach the new year!

Thanks for the suggestion to see that movie - I might just do that - my wife loves going to the movies and we don't get there very often. The last movie we saw was 'Australia' a few weeks ago. It seems to be getting bad press around the world but I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was not a single boring part - it was full of action and emotion. Most of all, it portrayed the plight of the Aboriginal folk who are a race of people I have come to love and respect especially after visiting Alice Springs, Uluru (Ayer's Rock), Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), and other parts of Australia's Northern Territory.
I saw a post on Twitter yesterday from someone I am following asking if anyone still socialises on Ryze. I as unable to respond to that person because they are not following me.
I think Twitter is great but Ryze and Twitter are very different and there is good reason to belong to both.

To me Ryze is the granddaddy of them all.
I'm a total Twitter addict but in my opinion, nothing beats Ryze as far as ease in maintaining an ongoing dialogue.
When the novelty of the Ning groups wears down (and even Twitter), I think Ryze will, well, Rise again!
Yes, take your wife to see Benjamin Button.
By the way, my father spent time in New Guinea. He loved it. I always hoped he and I could get to Australia someday but he died in 1983.

Thinking I might go see Benjamin Button. It isn't on at a cinema near me just yet.
The comparisons of networks is a little bemusing. I go to lots of places in the Meat World as a friend calls everyday life. I visit different places online. Same thing.
It is a little like the idea of buying a 'holiday house' and spending every holiday there and nowhere else. Terrible thought.
Happy New Year to all.

My wife and I just saw Benjamin Button this past weekend. GREAT movie!
There is plenty of "meaning" in the whole story .... just like you said. Great cinematography, acting, storyline, etc. It is a bit long but worth it.
My wife and I both agreed BB is now one of our favorites. We're both picky so that's saying a lot. In fact ... we would pay to go see it again AND plan to buy the DVD when it comes out for our home movie library.
The last one we felt this strongly about was Bucket List. Looking forward to the release of "The Soloist" next ... similar type of "message" movie with great actors etc.

I, too, could see it again!
Hope it does well in the awards programs coming up!
