Membership Sites seem to be getting quite popular these days.

Does anyone have one?

Are you thinking about setting one up?

If so tell us what you have, or what you are tools / software / services you are looking at for setting up your membership site.

If it's already up and running share some info and the link so we can take a look.

Hey, Hank.

I do not have a membership site, however I have heard a lot of great things about the membership software called Amember. I have seen it in action and all the research I have done points to a very simple, easy to use, effective membership software. I am NOT an affiliate. I have looked into some free PHP scripts too and attempted to install them only to have my server crash. I just didn't want to spend the $150-180.oo dollars for a copy.
There is another server side application called the butterfly manuscript from I believe Mike Filsaime. I have seen this one and it looks and feels the best and presents as the most professional however, I believe The company has all the control and you may have to pay a membership fee or a large one time fee in the likes of one grand I think!

Thanks Daniel -

I use MemberGate for my SupportEducation.com site but it's an expensive solution for most sites unless you desire all the integrated functionality it offers.

You mentioned Amember. That was one that came up in a lot of searches and I was looking into.

It's also the one I decided to use on my new site SEOClub.Us.

It was pretty easy to install. Some of the options are a bit vague and help is cryptic but can be figured out with minimal trial and error. I had 1 issue during setup which I contacted Amember tech support about. They fixed it quickly for me.

For the price it seems worthwhile and capable of doing the job.
