Online advertising can be an effective way to communicate to your customers, including blogging, message boards, chat rooms, email, RSS feeds and podcasting.

Which ecommunication tool(s) do you use and has it been effective and a benefit to your customers?

Which ecommunication tool(s) are you interested in adding and why?

Well, I haven't gotten into blogging but I love message boards, chat rooms and emails. Haven't found the knack for RSS feeds and while I have participated in podcasting, I haven't done any of my own. Take care and God bless.

Gazelle, I really enjoy blogging, it's such a confidence booster because it positions you as an expert on the topic and you're respected for speaking up on various topics and societal issues as well.

RSS feeds are what I want to get into soon. Once I start and get the hang of it I'll be back to share.

Lukeither, if I had another me or another couple of hours in a day, I could fit blogging in but I'm just swamped without a moment to spare. For instance, this week, I've been to three networking events, one I hosted on Monday and I've got an event tomorrow night, another on Saturday and Monday. Did I mention my daughter's 17th birthday is Tuesday? Calgon, take me away! LOL!

Time is the problem with me. I'm also in the works for taking a position with the local Chamber of Commerce which would require a couple more meetings thrown in for a free membership. If I accept this position, I will definitely let you know so you can get in too since you are in Atlanta. Take care and God bless.

You just created an interesting blog, lol!

I agree blogging requires dedication, time and consistency and shouldn't be taken lightly. Once you develop a loyal following they rely on reading your information.

Just keep it in mind.

Congratulations! On the opportunity to get in at the local Chamber of Commerce, please keep me updated.

LOL! You are so right but the question is can I keep doing it. That consistency issues is why I won't start one now. I've seen plenty of blogs that haven't has content in weeks. Sort of defeats the purpose and gives me the impression that there is a lack of dedication. Not the message I want to send out.

I'm the new South Metro Area Director of the Atlanta Metro Black Chamber of Commerce. WOOHOO! I know they have a chapter near you. You can get more info at http://www.atlantametroblackchamber.org. If you can make it to the Doing Business with AMBCC on Saturday at 11:30am, please RSVP online. It's free and I will see you there. Take care and God bless.
