As the moderator of this network, I would like to see the members here make a since effort to get "better connected" with each other. One way to do that is to share contact information. And, one piece of contact information that I have found to be extremely beneficial is the Skype username. To continue on the subject of getting better connected, I would like to encourage those using Skype to add two wonderful plug-ins to Skype. First, Yugma at www.yugma.com as this will allow you to share your desktop while on a Skype call. You can actually share your desktop and the other party's desktop during a single Skype call. You can also have up to nine people on a Skype call to do this and with that many people the call is still 100% free. Another Skype plug-in I recommend is Pamela at www.pamela-systems.com. Pamela is your automated virtual assistant. She can answer your Skype phone, make Skype calls for you, record calls, assist with podcasting, blogging and more. Pamela can even send faxes from your computer. While there is a free version of Pamela, I like the fee-based professional version best. I particularly like having the ability to record phone calls and use those MP3 files for background narration in videos.
