When's your birthday? Now you can bring friends to Ting's Thai Kitchen and everyone gets a 15% discount on the meal. All you have to do is register your birthday (or anniversary) more than a month in advance with the restaurant. And, that is easy-to-do via email. To read more about it, go to Special Offer From Ting's Thai Kitchen.

Now, that link goes to a Google News Service posting. I think getting on the Google News Service is good for any business - large or small. But, you have to know how to do it. As you can see, I have the know how. I am hoping to be able to share that "know how" with the Lakeport Regional Chamber of Commerce in February of next year. That looks like the next available date to speak at their "59 Minute" presentation. But, here's great news. You do not have to wait that long. You can find out how to get on the Google News Service and many other things about social media by signing up to attend one of the Social Media Sunday Brunches I will be doing at Ting's Thai Kitchen, beginning October 4th and continuing on Sunday afternoons through the end of the year. Here is the complete list of dates:

October: 4, 11, 18, 25

November: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

December: 6, 13, 20, 27

Susanne LaFavre, who teaches a graduate class in public relations for Golden State University, is a big supporter of this very special community effort. She will be in attendance at the kick-off luncheon on March 4th. The cost of the brunch is $25.00. The price includes the meal, presentation and the handouts. Each brunch will seat a maximum of 12 people. It is designed to be small and intimate to provide maximum benefit to those who attend. This is not the type of event that needs "repeat visitation." One visit should be all you need. As you share what you learn, others will want to experience the Sunday Social Media Brunch...and so grows the knowledge base regarding social media.

Please let me know if you have an interest and can come.
