Hi,
I want some information regarding the Distance Learning Programme in Management.
Nowadays, due to the workload and busy hours, we dont get time to attend the full time MBA programmes, so we have got a very good option of Distance Learning.

But whether these Distance learning programmes are really helpful?
Does it have weightage in the Business world?
Are these courses recognised in the Market?
Will any student of these courses will have a benefit in the current market having the added qualification of Distance Learning in Management?

You can check about IIM - Cal program being run at NIIT premises using their video conferencing on weekends(Available in most of the Indian Cities) .This should be best compramise. Totally secluded correspondence programs may not help much.

Yeah of course it has.

Many like me who hail from a middle class family and need to start their career at a very early age, find it as a boon so that we can continue our career as well as education.

In fact it has more advantages as compared to conventional education:
1. Direct application of learning in practical life, as students are actually working in those environment. Eg, a young entrepreneur learning MBA, implies the concepts in his/her business. IT Professionals get live hands on on their job, etc.

2. Students are not treated like Kids, since many are well grown adults, so now a days institutions and universities behave with grown up students with Client - Service Provider gesture

3. Students can demand facilities through Online Support and help desk, and also avail lots of service like Online Payment, Payment through Credit Card etc (in case of elite organisations)

There are many such advantages....
