What's the longest you have ever been without normal cable Internet access? I ask because my cable ISP may end up holding the new record for longest cable nightmare by an ISP.
The nightmare began on Dec. 9th and they still has not been resolved.
You see, Mediacom ran out of bandwidth for the entire State of California. Have you ever in your life heard of an ISP running out of bandwidth for an ENTIRE STATE? To solve this problem, Mediacom decided to purchase AT&T servers. What once belonged to AT&T now belongs to Mediacom. That meant that Mediacom had to transfer all the data from their current servers to the new AT&T servers. This opened a can of worms like you cannot believe in terms of email that did not get delivered at all to email that got delivered where it did not belong, bounced back to the sender or someone else.
Has anyone on this network experienced something along these lines?
