Ad.ly is an advertising service that pays you to allow an advertiser use your Twitter account to send out campaigns. The advertiser actually pay you money to use your account and speak to your audience. You can choose the campaigns you wish to affiliate with. You do not have to simply accept every campaign presented to you once you sign up for the service. This seems like a legitamite service. What do you think about the idea? If you like it and want to actually engage in it, send me a private message and I will send you a link.

With Ad.ly, not only can you make money from those who advertise through your Twitter account, you can actually become an advertiser yourself. Ad.ly may be a better way to advertise your business than Google Ads. Ad.ly is relatively new, so it is not really fair to even make that comparison.

I understand there are other options out there. See this blog post:

Kurt,

I went to the link and read the post. The author of the post recommends signing up for both Ad.ly and Sponsored Tweets. He did. Although he has made more money with Sponsored Tweets, he feels Ad.ly may outdue them due to the fact it is backed by some impressive companies - like Microsoft and Sony.

However, neither one is going to do any Ryzer any good if that Ryzer has a small Twitter following. You need a significant number of Twitter followers. All advertisers want an audience. So, the question becomes, if you don't already have a large audience on Twitter, how might you get one...rather quickly? Here's a possible solution:

Step 1: Get a Twitter account if you do not already have one.

Step 2: Get a Foursquare account if you do not already have one.

Step 3: Add "Lamar Morgan" as a friend on Foursquare.

Step 4: Add my friends to your Foursquare Friend's List.

Put the power of crowd psychology and crowdsourcing to work for your business. Let Ryzers help Ryers succeed.
