SRK's got what he wanted - PUBLICITY, SS has got what it WANTED - PUBLICITY, Channels got what they wanted -BREAKING NEWS (even if its less exciting than BREAKING WIND) and what I, as a honest tax paying, Law abiding Citizen received, is Frustration at the state of affairs, Fear, Loss of property, Traffic jams, attention of the security forces diverted, and all this crap and melodrama taking away time and attention from more pressing issues at hand. Any element that does not show respect to Peace and Public property should be used as landfill for that glorious memorial they are going to construct in the middle of the Arabian Sea. That is what my take is on this Circus. Lets get back to work.. Yes, SS got what they wanted in short term, cheap publicity, but lost even more what they desperately needed, credibility and public support. More Maharashtrians today equate SS with public nuisance than before the SRK episode. Their political future has become more bleak, which they seem to somewhat realise, but can not change their posturing for fear of being bested by MNS.Private Reply to Basab Ghosh | |
