Your marketing has become excellent when selling becomes unnecessary...

If you have been properly building your brand, marketing yourself as a leader who has true value to offer(because you have focused on becoming an expert and you actually do) and have created a bio page for your prospects to get to know, like and trust you, then you have probably noticed that you don't SELL anymore. People contact you because they want to join you in your business and they have a couple of questions before they get started. Sometimes they go ahead and join before you even get to talk to them. That's cool.

If you haven't had this experience yet, keep doing the right things and you will get there. Here are some things to focus on:
1. Always lead with value when you are writing articles, posts, in facebook discussions, etc. If you are trying to get someone on your list offer them something of value. An e-book, special report, training video, etc.
2. Be consistent in your efforts and commit for the long-term. Don't expect to write a couple of articles and then sit back and watch your results. If you're not too busy to check your inbox while you're working, then you're probably not focused enough. Set your daily plan of action in motion today and judge your results 6 months from now.
3. Commit to constant improvement. Read or listen to something that will help improve your skills every day.

Good points about sharing good content with others, the more helpful and knowledgeable you are, the bigger an asset you become. Of course, the only way to become more knowledgeable is to do what most others won't. Attend webinars on your field, read books, go to seminars and follow and learn from the ones who are actually making it happen. Guys like Mike Dillard, Perry Marshal, Jonathan Budd and others too numerous to mention.
