Hi Most Distinguished Entrepreneurs,
Trying this with a little more rules.
I've been seeing way too many
post that would appear to be spam, recruiting,
etc and less about WHAT your business is about,
less about WHO the poster is and their background, etc.
As a result, I am requesting the following format
for helping match employers, sales people, business owners,
etc with candidates...
1. Your Ryze profile MUST be completely filled in including
the interests, industries, and background info with a photo of YOU. A website as well with contact info clearly identified, and anything else helpful in providing info for employment related info.
2. 3-5 sentences about YOU and your background.
3. 3-5 sentences about your business and its background.
4. 3-5 sentences about what you are looking for in a candidate or employer.
For example:
My profile is completely filled in. So feel free to use as a sample.
My background: I grew up in New York in a suburb 30 minutes north of NYC. You might have heard of it; It is called Rockland County. I began my photography interests as early as 7th grade. I enjoyed photographing the school for the yearbook from faculty portraits, sports, class photos, etc. I have 1 sister and my dad followed me to Florida to retire after I moved here after I mom moved to S FLA.
My business: I launched a unique mobile photo studio 3 years ago. With some strong clients in the corporate arena and a few local business people, and a few families, I think I am off to a really cool start considering no one else has a mobile studio too! I am now taking the next step and hiring a sales force. This experience is very fun for me as I enjoy working with a team and helping others.
My ideal candidate: I am looking for self starters, go getters, who love photography, love people and want to make more money to sure up their retirement and lifestyle.
I am looking for team members that would like to run with a compensation plan that is based on monthly sales volume and various family and business portrait services.

General Purpose of the Position:
This position is responsible for coordinating and managing technical solutions to issues related to all aspects of Webcasting operations, including assisting and supporting clients and internal staff with Webcast-related and iEncode issues. The position also entails designing, procuring, and assembling component parts of the iEncode product line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Act as focal point between the I.T. Department, Webcasting Engineers, and the Software Development Division, on all issues relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the encoding equipment.
2. Keep abreast of system deployments, and configure them for accurate and timely dissemination to internal and external client machines.
3. Serve as technical expert on current streaming media technology.
4. Participate in and provide technical input at conference meetings with Sales Reps. and Resellers, as well as clients.
5. Liaise with client technical staff to design appropriate Unicast/Multicast stream distribution solution.
6. Manage the Content Delivery Network database.
7. Manage internal Admin. Site, including cross-referencing data in the Content Delivery Network database, as well as assigning entry point priority for metafile generation.
8. Ensure adherence to broadcast standards, encoding templates, as well as maintain integrity of the encoders, and encoding networks.
9. Design, procure, and assemble component parts of the iEncode product line, including interface design, and software deployment and licensing.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong understanding of Codecs, Encoding, and Streaming Media
Strong understanding of both Desktop and Server Hardware and Software, Operating Systems software, and extensive Configuration.
Knowledge of Broadcast standards, Formats, Aspect Ratios, etc.
Good overall knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, Multicast, etc.
Good knowledge of Radmin (Terminal Services), various Imaging software, Sysprep, Pre-installation, System Builder (oem) experience, Virtual environments.
Experience in Legacy support (isdn/software/hardware).
Knowledge of database formats preferable.
Designing systems to be flexible for maximum usability, including schematics.
Documentation experience (Backup images, Repositories, Installation scripts)
Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to analyze issues and produce solutions in real time.
Ability to prioritize, and work well both independently and in a team environment.
Flexibility, ability to adapt to change without losing efficiency or composure.
Computer Equipment and Software:
Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, NT, 95/98 desktop, server and network skills.
Windows Media Encoder, RealProducer, Quicktime Broadcaster, Flash Media Encoder, Windows Media Services
Education and Experience:
Four year degree in Computer Science or Media Arts
A+ and/or MCSE certification required
5 years experience in system building and networking
2+ years experience in software deployment and set-up
2+ years experience in streaming media
2 years experience in AV or AV-related field
2+ years experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting
2+ years in systems analysis and documentation
2+ years experience with TCP/IP
2+ years experience in VMware or similar virtual environment
1+ years experience in designing a POS or similar Windows-embedded system
1+ year experience managing Windows Media Services
Salary range: $45,000 - $65,000
