I've been a member here for quite a long time, but am more of a lurker than a poster. There are great topics posted throughout this site and I first want to thank you all for thoughtful responses to questions asked.
About a year ago, I told you all that I was trying to restart a business in the midwest that had been a success in the Washington, DC area for many years. However, the economy and the area of the nation I'm starting over in is in a tough situation these days. Anyway, now a year later, the business has been relatively successful and we have a GREAT website (I think) but I'd like other's opinions as well. Please take a look at my site at www.thessbi.com and let me know honest, constructive thoughts regarding the site. Thank you. I think the website looks great aesthetically, but more importantly, it's very functional and looks like it meets your business' goals and objectives. Even with the amount of content and resources, it is kept very simple and usable for the average visitor. You keep content updated very often and provide reasons for people to continue coming back.
The only thing I would recommend for improvement is, to the right of "Welcome to SSBI!", either a quick slogan or catch phrase that summarizes what it is, like "your business networking solution," or what SSBI stands for. In general, the site looks clean and very functional for its purpose.

The only thing I can quickly think you may consider adding in the future would be videos. You could do this by adding videos of your events, speakers, and so forth. This would help in your SEO to make your website visible in the google rankings, build your traffic and therefore increase your members. When I checked under Alexa.com your traffic isn't very high at the moment.
Thank you,
