charu hasan | | Of late when I speak out my without much inhibitions that some body remarked that truth is also a consequence of aging. Well. At 80 one can never think young. Someone told me that discovering some thing that others failed to notice is science. Inventing something that others had not thought of is called Art. If you impress a large number of people with such an invention;it is called fine art.
I am sure that my friend attributed my admitting several truths to my aging cannot be easily countered. What with age, cross-pollination of ideas start deteriorating. The efficiency of reproduction goes down as easily as sperms per field minimized reproduction with aging. Only Sigmund Freud will agree with me, if he were alive, without emotional inhibitions.
As my retention in memory cells have goes down along with a self induced “selective memory” the calendar that registers the happenings of day's events work less and less that when I go and remove my dental plates and spectacle to put them in two different mugs to clean them, it feels as if there is hardly enough time lapse between the yesterday’s cleaning and today’s hygienic requirement.
Yet I seem to know the lack of available time at my age that I take all news papers to the toilet and keep reading them during my morning ablutions. That denotes that I am realizing that my rate of acquisition knowledge is nearing sub-zero. Is it possible that I might even be storing misinformation like earth is a flat table, like Mangalore Airport and aliens coming to land by UFO always crashed or Rahu and Kethu swallowed the moon to create new moon and spit out for a full-moon and such things. These are my terminal education.
I am still learning .

If someone is happy thinking rahu and kethu eat the moon and that is why moon is seen as decreased or increased sizes, then why it should matter to you?
For me, if I can make someone dearer to me happy by telling a harmless lie, I would just go all the way for it.
when a lover says to his beloved, you are as beautiful as the moon. that moment he really feels it and makes his beloved believe it too. In that moment if you think about Rahu and Kethu, the whole romantic mood will be spoilt Charu.

I am sure when you were young long back and looked into the eyes of your wife or sweetheart, you would have never seen even scars created by the pimples on her face and she would have looked a Rathi to you with 'chandrabimbam'

Ageing is chronological process but that never stops us from leading a full life.Physical infirmities are expected but that never stops us from leading a contented life.
Reinhold Messner climbed Mount Everest without bottled oxygen
(termed it "climbing by fair means" )which was thought to be impossible by medical profession .He was the first mountainer to climb 14 peaks of 8000 + mtrs category.
