About lawful and lawless marriagesViews: 688

I was watching TV news with my grandson who is a lot more of an intellectual than his grand father. Almost all grandsons are superior to all grandfathers in the matter of intellect. All fathers and mothers are prone to agree while a few grandfathers who disagree with me deserve to go to the nut-house.

`13 minor girls in TN villages were rescued by the district collector on info from NGOs` by sending the police. Of the thirteen a 25% of them were above 15 and still not legally marriageable age and their eyes showed a bit of disappointment about the police intervention. I told my grandson (he is 18+) that I could see their craving for sex and married life. I tried to tell him that laws cannot provide solution for hunger and Physical needs. Food securities Act can only promise food cannot produce it. The little guy told me that there could be law to punish people who get married for it is unlawful act of forcing one to have sex only with the other.

I told him that I was married 56 years back. It was done by my parents and how will you apply that law on an 80 year old man? How long you can keep him jail?

He said,
Did you realize that your famous brother can be punished three times?

We both laughed and I moved on to pick up my drink.

I sang “GOD SHAVE THE KING.”

I was British subject while my dad was in and out prison as freedom fighter. All our rupee coins had the figure of King Gorge with beard. My contribution to Indian freedom was the National Anthem GOD SHAVE THE KING.
