This may look like an attempt at blowing my trumpet. `My cousin Rachael” was my favorite book. I have one favorite cousin who got married when she was 12. I ran away from home a few days before her marriage. The cops caught me two days before marriage. I came back to take pictures of her wedding. I enlarged one colored it and gave her. That was in 1947. She was my best friend till then. It must have been her drive that made her husband the attorney general of India. Even today he is one the best Senior advocates of the Supreme Court for he had a great woman backing him. In one his interviews he mentioned my name as another lawyer in the family. He did that out of his respect for his wife more than his acceptance of his brother-in-law’s legal acumen.
She was in ICU in a hospital and asked her daughter to call charu and inform him that she is not well. To day limped to the hospital. I could only see my best friend of 75 years through a glass window. She was the most beautiful lady in our entire family. She is such a good PRO for our family that her friends and fans outnumber the entire hasan family. She and I are survivors. I want her to live longer than me. CAN YOUR GOD DO IT?

 Senthil Nathan | | @Charu Sir
Let the GODS whom I believe will give long life to your cousin and thus a happy life to you. I will pray for it.
I can see the kind of emotion you are in. Take care sir.
Today one of my friend was saying, yes I didnt believe in God when I had everything and now when nothing is happening to my wish, I start to believe in GOD.

Ganesh Ram | | Charu, I wish your cousin all the best in what is best for her at this time.
Having said that, the post I am going to make will probably be not take in the right sense by all as I would like it to be.
You had asked about Gods and there are\were posts about how people would pray to their respective gods for your cousin. We as living things cling to our lives out of fear. We as living things depend on an unknown to live our lives. It is going to take many of us many years to see life from those who are suffering with incurable diseases and have attained ripe old age.
One of the song I like and is my favorite is Manamae KaNamum maravadhae by PapanAsam Sivan and is it goes like this,

 SOEB FATEHI | | I know that -
HE disapproves of intercession
HE is always waiting to be asked and when asked HIS hands have no restraint in giving what is best for us
actually HE gives more than we deserve anyway even without us asking but that is a different subject altogether . . . to win, submit! Private Reply to SOEB FATEHI |

charu hasan | | Now my cousin Rachael is no more I shall behave better and try to be worthy of her goodness only few people can understand. Her husband could have been closer to Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi. She stood taller than him where the whole family was concerned. She was popularly known as Ammayee, who lived well and died in glory. I apologize to the minds that I have hurt using harsh language. Forgive me A proud brother Private Reply to charu hasan |

padmanabhan ramasubban | | Charu anna , your dear Ammayee had a long innings inspite of your last minute challenge to HIM!
May her soul rest in peace.
But she continues to live in the hearts of many out numbering even your family. Private Reply to padmanabhan ramasubban |
