Do you personally use and believe in your products/services?Views: 742

It may sound asinine in its simplicity but do you believe in your product? Do you use it yourself? Would you recommend it to your friends and family?

If you have answered yes to all of the above chances are you are going to sell a lot more of your product than if you didn't. The reason is simple - it's about magnetism. People are attracted to passion and it's difficult though not impossible to fake it. Politicians regularly misuse the power of faking it, but it's far simpler for the average person to just hitch a ride on an already existing passion and to communicate it sincerely.

I first learned the power of this law of attraction while managing health food stores some years ago. I worked closely with customers and I didn't need a spread sheet to show me that the products I used flew off the shelves while those I didn't often wound up in the bargain bin. I love to talk with customers - and without even placing myself in a selling mindset i would answer questions and recommend products I loved and they just sold and sold.

I strongly recommend a sincere approach here but if you absolutely must continue to sell products you don't use or believe in then you'd better start convincing yourself that you do believe...
