@ Suresh - When I was searching for these various tools I did come across a number of utilities which work on Ubuntu.
However since I use Win platform, I didn't record the Ub utilities. However if there is something specific you need you can google it, there is lots of ub stuff available.
In case you need any help in deciphering the tools I can help you since I do a lot of these video and audio editing/ mixing at home.
