June 8, 2013 was my first event selling RTPR. Let me tell you about it.
The event was the 15th Annual Barbarian Festival in Cross Plains, Texas. It is the birthplace of Robert E. Howard, the creator of Conan the Barbarian.
My husband and I rented space and loaded up our tent, table, and product. Then we headed to Cross Plains from our home in Abilene. We were set up and ready to sell in less than an hour and boy did we have fun!
One of the best moments was when a client allowed me to sample RTPR on his knees for him. After he chatted and I applied the lotion a second time, he let me know he was feeling relief. He said he wanted to walk around for a bit before making a purchase. His mind changed as soon as stood up from the chair. Mr V. stated that he has not been able to stand with such ease in a very long time! So he immediately bought a 5 ounce tube.
Later he walked past our booth and shouted that he was ready to go dancing. Still later, he dropped in to tell us that he was sharing the “miracle” of RTPR with anyone who would listen, but he couldn’t share his lotion because he couldn’t break the seal.
I told him to keep his RTPR and send the others to us, instead. Just as things were winding down, a lady approached us with cash in hand. She told us that Mr. V. was “talking her ear off” about our pain reliever, so she just had to get some for herself.
I was not about to let her buy without sampling, so I squirted some onto her hands and she was not only happy with the lotion but bought our last 5 ounce tube.
Mr. V. became an instant advocate and unknowingly earned a discount on his next purchase from us for the favor of his referral.
We went to the event with the expectation of selling out. We sold 4.5 times our booth rental. During a weeknight training webinar, Charles Carlton taught us that we should always have a goal of selling three to five times the cost of the booth. He also suggested that we should always shoot for the higher end of that goal.
Well…we did it!! We have only been with RTPR for one month at the time of the event. AND already we have MADE A PROFIT. I have never, ever achieved that in any other home-based business that I have attempted.
Thank you RTPR for helping me to make my vocation my vacation.
