I am happy to share with you that I was invited to be a Guest Speaker at Assocham's Currency Investments & Trading Seminar. This was held on Sat, 27 July 2013 and I was asked to speak on using Technical Analysis in Currency Risk Management.
The Seminar was attended by CEOs, CFOs, Brokers, HNI Traders & Professors of Finance. It was partnered by MCX-SE & ShareKhan. Other speakers at the Seminar were officials from RBI, Directors of MCX-SE, ShareKhan & Way2Wealth.
A range of topics was discussed from the current volatility of the INR, to RBI's recent steps, ways to Hedge and manage Currency Risks from Importers & Exporters points of views and much more.
I was part of the Panel Discussion on step that can taken to manage Volatility which was chaired by an RBI Person, Mr. Subramanium. It was a really stimulating discussion and lots of ideas. I certainly learned a lot and got to understand aspects that I had never had a chance to debate before.
