Ask timer first for the timing parameters right BEFORE topics...then share the purpose of table topics is to NOT stump any member or guests, but help us THINK on our FEET or SEAT.....Impromptu or off the cuff EXTEMPORANEOUSLY.....at conclusion of topics ASK members to cast ballot PRIVATELY for BEST TABLE TOPIC to SAA Sergeant at arms...SAA will give best topics and best eval and best speaker to Toastmaster to announce TOP vote getter...

Back up speaker is very important...It has happened...Speakers get unexpected change in schedule and all of a sudden your UP and need to speak on a moments notice...REAL LIFE practice...Great stuff!!

If time is short towards end of the meeting, then just ask for REPORTS from today's meeting helpers...ALSO do ask everyone to VOTE...cast your ballot PRIVATELY to SAA Sergeant at arms......for BEST EVALUATOR AND BEST SPEAKER of the evening....Toastmaster will ANNOUNCE top vote getters for Best Table Topic and Best Evaluator and Best Speaker....
