Here's what immediately comes to mind regarding business role models:
* Artists who embrace business so they can live their dreams AND be paid.
* Anyone who manages others with a balance integrity/kindness along with professional savvy - and makes good money doing it. (My Dad comes to mind.)
* Successful people who give to those in need - whether they give time, energy, their celebrity to promote a good cause, or money.
* Business owners who are environmentally aware and stay true to that awareness.
I'll sit with your question and see if anything/anyone else comes to mind.

Douglas Karr | | I have several folks in Church and business around me that I have as role models. I don't look for someone famous since that's not my objective in life. I look for folks who are at peace with themselves and enjoy business as part of their lifestyle - not a job.
Someday I hope to be like them.

-Richard Branson. I really enjoyed his autobiography, "Losing My Virginity". He's had a spectacular life and career....building a billion dollar empire, taking on the establishment, owning a private island, having a sense of fun and playfulness, and still finding time to be a pretty down to earth family man! What an amazing story.
