On your network home page, it's stated that search engines such as Google index posts made here. However, when I search the Google for what they've indexed of Ryze, I see primarly just the network home pages, no posts indexed.

I searched on my name "Wolf Halton" and have over 20 pages of entries from here and there, but the Ryze pages weren't there.
I searched on "thelittlecow" (which is my username here and also one of my web sites) and my Ryze home page came up but no forum discussions. Since this was fun, I even put in my wife's name, "Helen Halton", and she comes up in 9 of the top 10 on that search. But no ryze forum entries.. I did have numerous other forum entries though.

For even more giggles, I put in "ryze" and got a basically useless return of 742,000 entries. At least you know ryze is getting to be well-known.

What I learned from this exercise..
Fill out your Ryze profile as if it were your 30-second "who I am" speech that you would use at a social event, maybe add a paragraph about your top product with a special price for people who saw you on Ryze. Your Ryze profile is indexed and so even if you do not have a home page or a biz page, you can use it for a few passive sales. Use your page to show you as a friendly person who just happens to have a solution to a problem people are having.

Additional thoughts:
Turn your guestbook on at the most open setting they will let you use. Make yourself as available as possible from there.

Now I have to go and renew my hosting on thelittlecow.org as it is famous on Google.

Hello Peter,

My reason for the warning is that some people think Ryze is entirely private and don't realize that non-Ryze people browsing the web might be able to read their posts.  I had one girl in particular who was very concerned about her privacy when she found things she posted on Ryze were available to outsiders.

It looks like the network home page is indexed which would include the titles and names of the last person posting.  Then people could click on the posting and read it.  So the warning is just to let people know this.

At one time, the postings were included. Search engines got smarter and decided to ignore many discussion forums.
