Marguerite Floyd | | My study is a wreck, so I've gotten serious. After I got the two filing cabinets decluttered and organized, I've continued some major decluttering. I realized that my two big folding tables set in L formation harbored a lot of wasted space. So I broke down and bought another folding table that's more narrow and not as long AND a small computer desk with a drawer for my various paper clips, pens, and small stuff. This will open up more space in the room -- as soon as the company comes over to assemble my desk (I don't have enough valium to tackle that!). Yea!

KerryF | | Sounds like you are really on a roll. I just put together two desks myself (a large L shaped with hutch, and a regular size with hutch). Hubby was supposed to do them, but he's been so busy and I got tired of waiting for him...so I just did it myself. They took days, but they look really great.
I bet when you get all done in your office area that it is going to feel so wonderful to work in.
You'll have to let us know what room you tackle after this one. You realize that it sounds like you've caught the "organizing bug", don't you? Once that happens it's only a matter of time before the entire house is one organized machine. ha ha ha.
