Anybody here podcasting on a regular basis? Care to share any tips such as behind-the-scenes tech, recording methods/equipment, editing, posting, distribution, promotion, etc?

Hi George,

I was playing around with podcasting but did not know how to edit, add music, insert tags and all the stuff until I took Penny Hayne's course Podcasting Handbook. She goes over everything you are asking about.

Since the course, I've more comfortable with the entire process and have played with audio postcards now will be putting audio on the website when I get a moment!

Namaste,

George,

Check out this article on the iLounge:

Beginner's Guide to Podcast Creation

Also there's BlogMatrix's Sparks! - a podcasting solution (I have never tried it and don't have any affiliation with them). There is a 30 day trial before you have to pay the $10.

Hope this helps,
/Frank

Just that Gizmo (www.gizmoproject.com) has a record feature so I saw one comment that it could be used for podcasting - the recording part anyway.

I'm not sure what file format the calls are recorded in but if MP3 then you have a great resource.
