What is Innovation and what is it not?
Innovation is an activity of discovering things that were always there to be discovered.
It is not a process of inventing some things that didn't exist before even though it looks that way.
There is nothing special about NOW that makes the things we now have work now.
They would have always worked.
Ex. If Moses had stumbled across a cell phone out in the desert it would have worked fine.
It probably would have indicated a lack of signal but it would have been working fine.
One hundred years ago there was a certain amount of Stuff in the universe but we weren't here.
Now we are all here and nothing has been added to the amount of Stuff in the universe.
One hundred years from now we will all be gone but nothing will have been subtracted from the amount of Stuff in the universe.
Get out there and explore for some of that Stuff.
I'm sorry. I couldn't find a way to work in the 80/20 concept. Bummer.
