Lamar Morgan 954-603-7901 | | This is the first month I have attempted to promote an event using e-cards. There is a site called Evite.com that will not only allow you to post events, but send out invitations to them. In so doing, this free service provides RSVP feedback. It even resends the invitation automatically when there is no response to the initial invitation. I believe you can send as many as 500 invitations at one time. I am really impressed with the service.
Has anyone else used it and gotten good results?

Connie N | | I've used evite several times. The RSVP feature is great when organizing an event. I also like the fact that your event information will stay saved even when the event is over. This way you can reference back to it whenever you need it.
I really like the service.
Good Luck with your event.

Teri Hayes | | I used evite.com once for the first online chat/class I held and most likely will again. It was great for getting RSVP's since it was so easy for the invitee's to respond. Overall, I'm impressed with them as well.
Have a healthy day,

Cliff Obrock | | I have been recipient of several of these and like the approach very much. There is feature that allows you (as invited guest) to see who else has been invited, the responses of each and a profile of those folks who have elected to post one. I find that I am more willing to attend if there are others attending the event that I know, like and trust.
Best,

Lamar Morgan 954-603-7901 | | Terri,
You used Evite.com to get people to sign up for an online conference? Was that a web conference or something else?
I am still learning how to use Evite.com. I am wondering if there is some way it can actually be used to promote a product or service. This is not to say I want to SPAM people. But, if there is a way to use the service to get a message out and receive feedback for something other than an event, I would like to know how to do that.
I realize that as a subscriber to Evite.com my contact information is shared with all of Evite's partners. I am more than willing to make that trade-off in exchange for using the service - so long as the email addresses I imput into the system are not being harvested. According to the Privacy Policy those addresses are NOT being shared - just those of the subscribers.
