I'm looking for a Ryze, Yahoo, Google or some type of networking group or forum solely created for marketing managers.

I'm unemployed at the time and I've found Ryze networks and Yahoo groups tremendously helpful over the years, but I've outgrown some of them, including the SmallPRAgency yahoo group I created.

Any ideas?

Actually Soflow is a good one. Well, it's semi decent. Sometimes, you still have to cut through the fluff. They have some decent forums on marketing, i.e, word of mouth, viral, marketing professionals, etc... http://www.soflow.com

In fact, I started one yesterday, but I will certainly check out any other ideas suggested here.

If you are part of an in-house Marketing Communications and PR
department, this yahoo group is dedicated to helping you, whether your company has 4 employees or 4 million.

I signed up for Soflow yesterday and checked out some of their forums. It's a little too sterile compared to the free flow of information in a yahoo group, or even Ryze Networks fpr that matter. I think I'll stick with what I know.

Plus, the groups I was interested in were "invite only". How do you get invited to their groups?

Thanks for the suggestions.

Greg - that link says there is no such group for me...perhaps is there a typo or something?

Best,

Barry

Hey Greg --- when you say you've outgrown some the groups you're involved in --- what do you mean?

Marketing Managers cover a large spectrum of information and materials --- what specifically are you looking for at this juncture? In what ways have you outgrown your other resources? What kind of information are you going to find helpful?

If I have this kind of information I can better point you to other resources that are available.
