advertising tool, the "Free
Traffic Bar." Some of you have signed up for it and have given me excellent
positive feedback on using its search, research and marketing features.
Others in this network rightly questioned the value of a tool that advertised
to all members without the traffic being targeted - a need I hammer home to
my own students when teaching Internet marketing.
I mentioned in my reply to these comments that being able to target the
advertising was a feature I was working on.
Now, I am pleased to announce that the Free Traffic Bar now offers free,
targeted traffic to all its members.
Here is how it works. Members who join the Free Traffic Bar install the search
and marketing toolbar in their Internet Explorer or FireFox browser. As they
browse the Internet, a headline ad in the toolbar changes each time they load a
new page, generating advertising credits the member can use to show their own ad
in other member's toolbars. Whenever someone clicks on a toolbar ad, a new browser window opens with the web site of the advertiser.
Each member can choose what category of ads they want to see. For example, if
they want to see ads relating to Arts and Culture or Real Estate investing, they
can choose from those categories and other categories.
This is a real benefit to members as:
1. They are seeing ads and info relating to areas they are actually interested
in so they can find products and services they actually need.
2. Their own ad credits go more towards showing their ad to a target audience
who has CHOSEN to see those types of ads instead of to a general audience.
I see my members as a community that I am working hard to support, so I run free
training sessions for my Free Traffic Bar members on such topics as:
- The basics of successful Internet advertising
- How to write better ads
- How to improve click throughs
- How to create better landing pages
- How to create effective lead generation pages
- How to build more credits and their down line
So where else can web site owners get free, targeted traffic plus free
training on how to make their Internet advertising successful? :) My
Ryze network members are also welcome to take these free sessions. I'll
post the upcoming dates in a separate post.

The tool bar sounds interesting especially with the targeted approach now. I am looking forward to trying this out once I get some other things out of the way that is on my plate. It sounds that this will be like a traffic exchange but on the tool bar.
The training sounds extensive, I need more hours in the day and days in the week.
Thanks,

You are correct. Members install a toolbar with over 150 search, research and marketing tools which also includes a headline ad area. So the advertising exchange is in the toolbar.
In essence, it is a whole new marketing channel. If you advertise on a web site, you reach only users of that site, but with this system people see the ad no matter what site they visit. There are no popups, spyware or forced site visits.
I think the targeted traffic feature is critical because most other traffic exchanges don't offer this.
I look forward to your becoming a member.
