Furl is a social bookmarking tool that lets you add comments to web sites you visit that can be seen by other Furl members. It also lets you organize sites you visit by adding your own keywords and comments to you can easily call them up later.
The idea of the campaign was that they would all "furl" each other's sites to improve their linking and page rank.
I think they are a little misguided as page rank doesn't really affect search engine ranking.
However, Furl also offers a search option in their toolbar for members so they can search. Sites in this search come up based on the comments and keywords added by members, not just the words in the sites. So I was thinking members using this tool would find your web site more often if you could attract a number of Furl reviewers.
I know there are other social bookmarking sites out there as well, so my questions are:
1. Which is the most popular system?
2. How many people here in this forum use a service like this? If so, which ones?
3. What are your thoughts on using this as marketing method?
For those of you who are interested, here are a few I've found. I haven't tried any other than Furl.

Thanks for your thoughts!
