I have written several ezines about several topics and I find them on the strangest of sites sometimes. My link back to my sites are in my articles, but rarely does anyone find me by way of my ezines. I would love to do a newsletter or just get subscribers. They publish to my web site and 1 of my blogs via rss as soon as their posted, however, that's the extent of it. Either way I'm going to keep writing, beacause I enjoy it so much and I can give my views and insight on topics that are important to me. So long for now, Jay P.S These are my family sites, I hope it's okay to list them. www.jaysplan.com www.mistermomshome.com Private Reply to Jay Bartels | Nov 07, 2005 8:30 pm | | re: How can I Build a Subscriber base for my ezines? | # | lisa micklin | | Hi Jay,
Welcome to the cafe.
There's a lot of ways to build a subscriber base. One of the first things you should do is get a subscription form up on every single page of both of your websites, and on your Ryze page.
Subscribing to an ezine should never be about a treasure hunt to find a subscription form ;-) Get your forms up there where every site visitor, regardless of what page of your site they come to, can see that you are offering an ezine.
But a form is not enough. It's always a good idea to link to your archived issues and articles so that they can see what a valuable resource they are signing up for.
I hope this is of some help, lisa ~~~~~~~~~Private Reply to lisa micklin | Nov 08, 2005 9:47 pm | | re: How can I Build a Subscriber base for my ezines? | # | Garland Coulson | | Hi Jay,
I second Lisa's comments about making it easy for people to subscribe.
I also offer two free e-books on my web site, "Promote Your Web Site for Free" and "Questions to Ask Your Web Designer."
I find these two e-books attract 10-15 people who download and become subscribers to my newsletter every day.
