I am coming up to one year of publishing my Picture to Ponder - "almost-daily" ezine.

When I started on December 9, 2004, I labeled the First Issue - Volume 1 - Issue 1 - To see how I have it set up, check out today's issue http://www.eteletours.com/issue203.html . I archive them on my web site as well as with ezezine, my publisher.

My question is:

On December 9 - do I start Volume 2 - Issue 1 or Volume 2 - Issue 205 (or whatever number it will be). Also, if I'm keeping "Volumes" would you suggest stretching the time out and starting Volume 2 on January 2?

Thanks for your input.

Sheila

Hi Sheila:

I think how you want to do it is pretty much an individual decision. I don't believe there are any hard and fast rules about this.

However, since you publish (almost) daily all year, I would go from Volume 1, Issue 2005 to Volume 2, Issue 1 in January. That would make sense to me, so the numbers don't get totally unruly.

Just a thought.

All the Best,
Martha
