Rachel Tansell | | Hello Network Friends,
I am after your help and expertise. I want to freelance my writing services out to people and not sure where to start.
I have joined a few websites that post jobs, but I believe there is a lot of competition and I am based in Australia which seems to give me a slight disadvantage on the American based sites.
Can anyone tell me how I can find freelance work and what the best way is to promote myself.

I am not really qualified to answer your question but if I were going to use your services, I would want to know about your qualifications. Do you have a blog? Who have you done work for, and do you have references? In short Rachel, you must get yourself well connected and I would drop a PM to Steven Boaze, the Moderator of this Network, seeking his help. There is a lot of work for you out there but you will have to actively persue it, it will not come to you just because you say you can write. You must prove it.
